But only if you are using the right prompts and comparing and editing them to suit your needs correctly.
When you use the wrong prompts you’ll find that you’ll just waste time and not get what you want.

By having ChatGPT add storytelling in your introductory paragraph you will be able to keep the reader more engaged.
And when you add in stats and data, it helps with credibility.
Plus, this format also makes it easier for me to modify the content.
Prompt #2: Please share interesting stats about [insert the topic here] that very few people are talking about. Please cite your sources.
This prompt gives me ideas for social content, blog posts, and podcast episodes.
Prompt #3: What topics does [insert competitor URL] discuss the most frequently?
This is one of the easiest ways to figure out what your competitors talk about.
It will give you specific ideas of what to blog about.
Prompt #4: What are the most popular social posts about [insert the topic] based on likes and shares?
A great prompt to find out what kind of social content you can try posting.
Prompt #5: What are the most popular blog posts on [competitor URL]?
You typically will get 3 results. If you want more Add the number you want.
It’s a great way to find evergreen topics to blog on that keep producing organic search traffic.
Now, let’s dive into the prompts I use on Bard.
5 Favorite Bard Prompts:
Prompt #1: Please write a blog post about [insert topic] and include stats while citing sources. Make sure you cover information that most blogs don’t talk about. And use storytelling in the introduction.
When you have Bard’s story told in the introduction, it keeps the reader engaged.
And with Bard’s vast index, it is easier for them to include nuggets that a lot of blogs don’t talk about.
Prompt #2: Please share interesting stats about [insert topic] that are more recent. Please cite sources.
This prompt gives me ideas for social content, blog posts, and podcast episodes.
Prompt #3: What are trending topics around the subject of [insert topic]?
This is one gives ideas for content. Such as on social media, your blog, and even your podcast.
Prompt #4: What is the press talking about when it comes to [insert topic]?
This prompt helps you figure out what people want to cover right now.
Creating content around these topics makes it easier to get backlinks.
You can also contact journalists to see if they want to talk to you about any of those hot topics.
Prompt #5: What are the most popular podcasts that talk about [insert topic]?
This will give you an idea of what podcasts you need to build relationships with and ideally get on.
Now how do you get ChatGPT and Bard to create an article people want to read?
On top of the above prompts, I eventually learned the prompt to use to get ChatGPT or Bard to create an article that requires less editing.
If you just tell them to write an article, chances are you will get an article, but it will be one that you have to modify a lot.
But after using them for a while now, I’ve figured out how to get them to write an article that requires the least amount of editing.
Here’s the prompt I use:
I want to write an article about [insert topic] that includes stats and cite your sources. Make sure you cover information that most websites don’t talk about. And use storytelling in the introductory paragraph.
The article should be written in a conversational tone.
The article should be tailored to [your ideal customer].
The article should focus on [what you want to talk about] instead of [what you don’t want to talk about].
Please mention [insert your company or product] in the article and how we can help [your ideal customer] with [the problem your product or service solves]. But please don’t mention [your product or service or company name] more than twice.
And wrap up the article with a conclusion and end the last sentence in the article with a question.
Conclusion
ChatGPT and Bard are both great.
You just have to figure out how to adjust your prompts so you get helpful outputs.
For example, if you tell them to keep your paragraphs short when creating an article, you will find that the article will be too low in word count.
So you would want to avoid that in the instructions.
Keep testing out different prompts. You will find out what works for you and what doesn’t.
And if you use them to create content, make sure you still modify the content.
